The Joint Local Access Forum (JLAF) is recruiting!
Would you like to be involved in the development of access to the outdoors in this area? Are you interested in being a voluntary member of the Joint Local Access Forum (the JLAF), which gives independent advice to Councils on paths, public rights of way and access land both in the countryside and in urban areas? The JLAF covers Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Will you be able to advise the Councils on how to attract new users to the network of paths in this area?
As well as providing advice, there is the opportunity to get involved with other JLAF members in projects - for instance, the JLAF played a central role in the development of the OutdoorsWest website, and in collating routes to be added to it.
For more details, please contact Chris Hogg, Secretary to the JLAF on 01225 394161 or apply here on the JLAF website.
To be considered for membership this year the deadline for receipt of applications is 9am on Monday the 22nd June 2012.
