The next JLAF meeting is on the 6th July at 2pm in Riverside offices in Keynsham.
The Joint Local Access Forum (JLAF) has 21 members who advise the Councils on how to improve Outdoors Access - they've advised on opening new Access Land, opening up new paths and on creating OutdoorsWest. If you're interested in seeing what they do, you'll be most welcome to come along.
The meeting is held in public, and the agenda this time includes:
● A presentation by Sarah Slade, the National Access Advisor for the Country Land and Business Association, the CLA,
● Discussion on the contents of a JLAF Business Plan for 2012-13 and beyond,
● A briefing on the Lower Severn Vale Levels Project,
● An update on the Avon Ramblers' Voluntary Wardens,
● A briefing on Defra's consultation on Improving the Policy and Legal Framework for public rights of way... and more!
More details are on the meetings page of the JLAF website, including papers for the meeting and a location map for the venue. The meeting is in a new venue so don't go to any of the previous venues if you've attended before!
